Eco-restoration of an old farm

« instants d’Absolu» Ecolodge & Spa is the dream of every traveler in Auvergne, in the heart of a well established philosophy of life with a will to enable personal resourcing & energizing in wild open spaces, ideal for a great escape.

Originally a three-hundred-year-old-farm located 1,145 m above sea level, «Instants d’Absolu» Ecolodge & Spa was entirely created as such after a complete renovation in full respect of the environment, with initially: • Ecological insulation made from cellulose wads, • Change of windows and doors to double glazing, • From gaz to wood heating, • Ecological wall-paintings, • Carpet tiles made from recycled fiber.

After some great construction and renovation work, « instants d’Absolu» Ecolodge & Spa is being developed through an ethical policy with a view to making guests sensitive to the environment stakes and to the protection of the nature.

Located on a biodiversity hot spot labeled
ENS (for Naturel Sensitive Space), « instants d’Absolu » Ecolodge & Spa is aiming at offering you a special welcome with a real care for the environment, while encouraging energy savings, composting and the sorting of waste (organized in the Pays de Murat)

Beyond these daily principles, every action is thought in the benevolence of the site and its occupants. As far as purchasing an eco-friendly furniture (for instance for the outdoor restaurant furniture, made of 95% recycled iron, also of technical cloth Texyloop® promising 100% possible recycling and of eco-friendly paintings). Last but not least: on a ZRR (for Revitalisation Rural Area), « instants d’Absolu » Ecolodge & Spa is also aiming at contributing to the local development, thus purchasing as close as possible.

« instants d’Absolu » Ecolodge & Spa is a place where everyone can come to relax and regain that original connection with the Earth and the Nature to enjoy from the lake to the forest on a volcanic land.

Its owners feel they have an educational responsibility towards their guests by inviting them discover this beautiful local environment (with a great wealth of flora and fauna, with the passage of migratory birds on the lake and more than 500 deers counted in the Pinatelle forests, not to forget stoats, badgers, foxes ...).
